Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Fairview, TN, seeks a Donation Express Attendant to ensure a steady flow of donations at the Donation Express Center. You will greet donors, issue receipts, sort items, and keep the area neat and safe while upholding Goodwill’s hospitality.

You should have at least one year of public-facing experience, the ability to lift over 50 lbs, basic reading/writing skills, and reliable attendance. Some outdoor work and local transport to centers may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience working with the public is desired.
• Must be able to lift/carry over 50 lbs and push/pull loads over 50 lbs.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple addition for paperwork.
• Professional appearance and independent work capability.

Responsibilities

• Exhibit hospitality and provide receipts to donors.
• Open/close site on schedule and maintain a clean DEC area.
• Sort and secure donations as directed by management.
• Record donations and assist with daily donation summaries.
• Communicate donor activity and supply needs to supervisors.
• Attend DEC meetings and distribute information to donors.
