Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Middle Tennessee, Inc. is seeking a Donation Express Attendant at our Brentwood DEC location. You will welcome donors, issue receipts, and unload donations with care while maintaining a clean, organized work area.

Responsibilities include timely donation intake, item sorting, and accurate daily donation summaries. Attending mandatory DEC meetings and adhering to company policies are essential to support Goodwill's mission.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to read, write, and perform simple arithmetic for paperwork.
• Must be able to lift/carry over 50 lbs and push/pull loads.
• Proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Professional demeanor and neat appearance at all times.

Responsibilities

• Provide courteous, prompt Donor greeting and issue receipts.
• Open/close site on schedule and maintain attendance.
• Sort and secure donations; follow policies for acceptable items.
• Record donations and assist with daily donation summaries.
• Communicate DEC activity and donor counts to supervisors.
• Keep DEC area clean, organized, and safe; report hazards.
