Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin is seeking a Donation Attendant to maximize store profitability by delivering best-in-class donor service, maintaining accurate donation records, and handling materials efficiently. You will help build skills and change lives in our communities.

Responsibilities include greeting donors, providing receipts, staging donations for the sales floor, and using appropriate equipment to move items safely. No prior experience is required, and training is provided.

Qualifications

• Demonstrate good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Must be 18 years or older to learn safe operation of power equipment.
• No prior experience required.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, provide a receipt, and thank them for donating.
• Assist with donations and ensure accurate donation records.
• Move donations and keep merchandise flowing to the sales floor.
• Price items using basic pricing rules and ensure 1-touch processing.
• Unloads furniture safely and places it into the store.
• Interact professionally with co-workers, shoppers, and donors.
• Maintain accurate donation counts and receipts for donors.
• Use non-powered and powered equipment safely for movement.
• Assist with loading/unloading trailers and keep a clean, safe workspace.
