Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin is seeking a Donation Attendant to maximize store profitability through donor service, accurate donation records, and efficient material handling. You will greet donors, issue receipts, and support merchandise flow to the sales floor.

This role requires the ability to lift up to 40 lbs, operate equipment for donations, and work outdoors in all weather. No experience is necessary; training will emphasize safety and core values while upholding the organization’s

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to learn safe operation of power equipment (must be 18 years old and over)
• No experience necessary

Responsibilities

• Use GRATIS in donations; greet donors, issue a receipt, assist with donations and safely handling items
• Support efficient product flow as a material handler moving donations to keep merchandise flowing to the sales floor
• Price product using unit pricing or good/better/best to achieve one-touch optimization
• Safely unload furniture from donor vehicles and place into store
• Maintain donation counts and provide receipts to donors
• Operate non-powered and powered equipment for moving containers
• Assist with loading/unloading trailers safely
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following 5S principles and safety guidelines
• Uphold Goodwill core values in all duties
