Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin is seeking a Production Associate to maximize store profitability by efficiently sorting and pricing donations, helping maintain a clean, organized store, and supporting e-commerce efforts when needed.

In this entry-level role, you will learn safe operation of power equipment, greet customers and donors, and contribute to a positive team environment while upholding our core values and 5S safety standards. No prior experience required.

Qualifications

• Ability to learn safe operation of power equipment (must be 18 years or over)
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills

Responsibilities

• Sort donations into outbound containers for e-commerce, salvage, or trash
• Determine if item is unit priced or tagged with good/better/best price using guidelines
• Identify brands and high-interest items to maximize value in store or through e-commerce
• Meet 1 touch production goals — HL Donations from door to floor in 15 minutes or 1 SL rack per hour
• Greet customers on the sales floor and donors in the donation center
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment following 5S and safety guidelines
• Work the process staying in station producing primary donations, as assigned
• Provide back-up to take in donations or put out product as assigned
• Interact professionally with coworkers, shoppers, and donors
• Perform all duties within the framework of our Core Values
