Job summary

MERS/Missouri Goodwill Industries is seeking an energetic Retail Preprocessor to join the Granite City Store team. The role supports the mission, manages donated goods, prices items, and assists customers on the sales floor and online channels.

The position offers hourly full-time employment at $15.50 per hour with a monthly bonus up to $250, plus medical, dental, vision, and retirement options for eligible employees.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred; no degree required.
• Must communicate effectively with customers and coworkers.
• Be organized and able to interact with a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Handle donations with care and respect.
• Sort donated and purchased goods into categories for sales and online channels.
• Inspect items to determine quality and pricing.
• Price items using AMI pricing software.
• Maintain store cleanliness and stock shelves.
• Provide courteous customer service in person and over the phone.
• Protect agency assets and report losses.
