Job summary

Goodwill San Antonio is hiring for a Production Associate to load and unload donated goods, sort textiles, and assist with processing and shipping at various Goodwill locations. The role emphasizes safe handling, customer service, and teamwork in a retail nonprofit setting.

Responsibilities include assisting donors, stocking materials, and maintaining clean, organized work areas while following safety and loss prevention procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months to 1 year minimum experience in retail customer service oriented environment.
• Ability to bend, lift, grasp and move continuously through the day.
• Two-person lifting of some heavy objects may be required.
• Good verbal communication skills and ability to work as a team.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service at donation stations and greet donors.
• Load, unload and move donated goods using a hand truck.
• Restock supplies and assist teammates to maintain workflow.
• Assist in sorting, tagging and pricing donated items when needed.
• Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow safety guidelines.
• Adhere to loss prevention and inventory control procedures.
