Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes seeks a Wares Processor to prepare donated items for our retail stores, supporting store success while funding community programs. You will sort, price, tag, and label merchandise, meet production goals, and provide friendly customer service in a collaborative store team.

This role is based in retail/donation processing with occasional outside work; evenings, weekends, and holidays are required. A strong team, safety, and respect are valued.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Retail or production experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers and coworkers.
• Basic reading and writing skills for policies, labels, and routine reports.
• Willingness to learn, receive feedback, and contribute ideas.

Responsibilities

• Sort and assess hard line products based on quality standards.
• Price, tag, and label merchandise using pricing guides.
• Meet daily and bi-weekly production goals through processing.
• Provide friendly customer service and assist with concerns.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Cross-train in other areas as needed.
• Work collaboratively as part of the store team.
