Job summary

Goodwill of the Finger Lakes is seeking a Wares Processor to prepare donated items for our retail stores and support community programs. You will sort, price, tag, and label merchandise, while meeting production goals and maintaining product knowledge.

This role centers in a store and donation processing area with strong emphasis on customer service and teamwork. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, willingness to learn, and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Requires strong customer service orientation and ability to follow store policies.
• Clear communication with customers and coworkers is essential.
• Basic reading and writing skills for labels, policies, and routine reports.

Responsibilities

• Sort and assess hard line products (housewares, décor, small appliances, and more) based on quality standards.
• Price, tag, and label merchandise accurately using pricing guides.
• Meet daily and bi-weekly production goals by efficiently processing items.
• Maintain knowledge of hard line merchandise and build product expertise.
• Stock and organize merchandise on the sales floor as needed.
• Provide friendly, respectful customer service and assist with customer concerns.
