Goodwill Southwest Florida is hiring a Central Processor in Bonita Springs, FL. The role involves receiving, recording, and sorting donated goods using the Kaizen system, meeting production goals, and assisting in multiple production areas.

You will help maintain clean, safe workstations while following guidelines and supporting continuous process improvement. The position requires physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 40 pounds, and flex hours as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to listen to and follow instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and maneuver items up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to recognize colors and perform basic math.
• Good judgment, patience, and adaptability to weather conditions.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule and cross-train across roles.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record, and sort donations using the Kaizen system and proper labeling.
• Meet production goals by hanging soft-line and processing hard-line merchandise.
• Execute 5-minute Kaizen drills and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Sort, box, label hangers, and follow processing procedures for shoes and related items.
• Place salvaged and recyclable items into designated containers and locations.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers and coworkers.
• Support safety programs and follow all company policies.
• Cross-train to assist in multiple production areas as needed.
• Assist in donation attendant, merchandising, cleaning, and other duties as directed.
