Job summary

Goodwill Southwest Florida in Estero, FL is hiring a Retail Processor to receive, record, sort, and process donated goods using the Kaizen system.

You will help meet production goals, maintain quality and safety, and assist with merchandising, donation processing, and general store operations.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent preferred, retail or stock handling experience is a plus, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Flexibility in scheduling is expected.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or stock handling experience preferred.
• Ability to stand long periods and lift up to 40 pounds.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule.
• Good communication and listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Receive, record, sort, and process donated goods.
• Greet donors and customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Meet or exceed production goals by processing merchandise and recording production.
• Execute Kaizen drills and maintain clean, safe Workstations.
• Sort and organize hangers by type and follow processing procedures.
• Move racks and merchandise to sales floor and merchandise by color/category.
• Follow inventory rotation guidelines and pricing procedures.
• Sort and place items into designated containers to support operations and minimize disposal costs.
• Maintain a positive attitude with customers and co-workers.
• Follow all company policies and procedures.
• Assist in all areas of production and cross-train for additional duties.
