Job summary

GOODWILL OF CENTRAL FLORIDA in Fern Park, FL is hiring for a full-time entry-level Retail Associate to greet customers and donors and assist with donation processing. The role involves receiving donations, issuing receipts, helping donors with lifting items, and keeping the stockroom organized.

Responsibilities include sorting donations, pricing wares, maintaining a clean work area, and providing excellent customer service while following safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous retail and/or stock handling experience is preferred.
• Basic computer skills and beginner knowledge of utilizing a barcode scanner.

Responsibilities

• Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service.
• Receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts; assist customers with lifting items.
• Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and determine the quality of donations.
• Sort and price hard goods (wares).
• Keep production area clean and safe and other store areas as directed.
• Maintain well groomed appearance and dress code including name badge and vest.
