Job summary

Goodwill Industries Of Central Florida in West Sanford, FL is seeking an Entry-Level Retail/Donor Services Associate to greet customers and donors and process donations at the Sanford location. Under the General Manager, you will assist with receipts and loading donations, while keeping the stockroom organized and the sales floor welcoming.

Responsibilities include receiving donations, pricing wares, and helping customers; prior retail/stock handling experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Knowledge of retail and/or stock handling.
Ability to listen and follow directions.
Ability to react calmly and respond to emergency situations.
Adherence to the organization's Core Principles.
Knowledge of textile articles as related to garment classification (garments, etc).

Responsibilities

Greet each customer with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude; provide prompt, efficient, and accurate customer service at all times.
Receive donations from donors and issue donation receipts; assist customers with lifting items.
Sort donations as they arrive into proper carts or bins and determine the quality of donations.
Sort and price hard goods (wares).
Maintain production area and store areas clean and safe as directed.
Maintain well groomed appearance and proper dress code including name badge and vest.
