Job summary

Infinite Legacy is seeking a Funeral Services and Medical Examiner Liaison to develop, implement, and evaluate donation strategies, and to cultivate relationships with Medical Examiners and Funeral Homes. Your work supports optimal organ, eye, and tissue donation outcomes while ensuring seamless service delivery.

You will travel to Infinite Legacy regional offices as needed and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance donor family support throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health sciences, business or related field from an accredited college or university; or in lieu of a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a Funeral Home or Medical Examiner’s officer preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develops, implements, and evaluates individualized strategic plans for assigned accounts in accordance with organizational goals to ensure consistent approach. Assigned accounts will focus on the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner (OCME), Funeral Directors, and other professionals with whom the organization interacts throughput the donation process.
• Establishes and maintains effective customer relationships by providing a high level of service delivery through timely and ongoing communication, presence, and visibility. Provides “real time” customer assistance during Medical Examiner referrals and cases.
• Markets, develops, and provides education, information and consultation to Medical Examiners and Funeral Directors to ensure all aspects of the donation process are understood, supported, practiced, and implemented.
• Secures and maintains OCME support for donation and strives for a zero OCME organ and tissue donation restriction rate.
