Job summary

Goodwill Northern New England in Biddeford, ME is seeking a Donation Specialist to join our team and support daily store operations. You will greet donors, accept donations, sort items, and use light machinery to move heavy loads while upholding safety standards.

We value a positive attitude, basic math and literacy, flexibility with schedules, and a willingness to learn. Comprehensive safety training will be provided, including pallet jack operation and equipment handling.

Qualifications

• Positive attitude that fosters a great work environment.
• Basic math and literacy to support tasks.
• Ability to use essential job equipment and tools.
• Flexibility to work varying schedules, including evenings and weekends.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Physical ability to lift/move objects (up to 100 lbs occasionally).

Responsibilities

• Inspect, accept, track, and sort donations into the correct value stream.
• Provide best-in-class customer experience to donors and issue receipts.
• Operate power equipment to organize and store donated products.
