Job summary

Goodwill Northern New England is hiring Donation Specialists to greet donors, accept donations, and move items with light machinery in a fast-paced store setting in Augusta, Maine.

This role requires quick decision-making, ability to lift up to 100 lbs occasionally, and flexibility for varied shifts including evenings and weekends. Training covers safety and pallet jack operation as part of daily duties.

Qualifications

• Positive, friendly attitude.
• Basic math and literacy skills.
• Ability to use essential job equipment and tools.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.
• Physical ability to lift and move objects up to 100 lbs occasionally, 50 lbs frequently, and 20 lbs constantly.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, accept, track, and sort donations into the correct value stream.
• Provide best-in-class customer experience to donors, issuing receipts and ensuring positive interactions.
• Operate power equipment to organize and store donated products.
