Job summary

Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont in Charlotte, NC is hiring team members to greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.

You will sort, inspect, and price merchandise, move items to the sales floor, and keep work areas clean, with indoor and outdoor duties and exposure to the elements.

No experience is required—training is provided, and you’ll enjoy benefits, bonuses, and opportunities for growth as part of a mission-driven team.

Qualifications

• No experience required; training provided.
• Able to lift up to 100+ pounds and perform physical tasks.
• Willing to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather.
• Strong teamwork and safety procedural adherence.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors, assist with unloading donations, and provide receipts.
• Sort, inspect, and price merchandise following safety and quality guidelines.
• Move items to the sales floor and keep work areas clean and organized.
• Load/unload donation trailers and handle custodial tasks throughout your shift.
• Track donation counts accurately and help maintain store cleanliness, including cart retrieval.
• Report any safety, theft, or security concerns to management.
• Support the team with additional duties as needed.
• You’ll be working indoors and outdoors with exposure to the elements
