Job summary

Goodwill of North Georgia is seeking a Donor Goods Processor to thoroughly examine and grade donated items for sale in our stores. You will process goods quickly while following standard operating procedures in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with a friendly team, maintain a clean work area, and support operations through accurate category sorting and safety adherence. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 1+ years of production experience preferred.
• Must have basic math and reading skills.
• Must have good oral and written communication in English.
• Must be 18+ to operate forklift.

Responsibilities

• Display a professional, patient attitude with guests.
• Provide a donation receipt to guests at donation.
• Handle guest questions following procedures.
• Sort donations into designated categories.
• Communicate with management when needed.
• Follow training playbooks, e-learning and instructions.
• Evaluate and navigate decisions effectively.
• Promote cooperation and teamwork with peers.
• Maintain a neat donor door area/ADC location.
• Adhere to safety and security practices and report hazards.
• Assist truck drivers with loading/unloading donations.
• Attend and complete required trainings and meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
