Job summary

Dallas Area Habitat for Humanity’s ReStore seeks a Warehouse Associate in Dallas to support donation intake, process merchandise, and keep the warehouse organized and safe while assisting customers. You will receive, inspect, move, sort and prepare donated items for the sales floor with teamwork and attention to safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Warehouse, retail, donation-center, moving, or customer-service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule with weekdays and weekends.
• Ability to work well with volunteers and staff.
• Follow safety and donation-processing procedures.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect and process donated merchandise according to ReStore guidelines.
• Move and organize merchandise for the sales floor and storage areas.
• Assist customers and help load purchases when needed.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Greet donors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Cross-train to support sales-floor responsibilities when required.
