Job summary

Austin Habitat for Humanity’s Lake Creek ReStore in Austin, TX is hiring a Warehouse Associate to receive, sort, process and price donated merchandise in a fast-paced warehouse. The role ensures timely movement of goods to the sales floor and provides excellent donor service.

You will work with a team, comply with safety policies (OSHA), and operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks while maintaining accurate donation records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 4 years of related experience.
• Strong communication, problem-solving and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer and donor service; greet donors and issue receipts.
• Adheres to all safety policies and OSHA guidelines; maintain a safe warehouse environment.
• Safely unload donations and operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, dollies).
• Sort, process and price merchandise according to company standards; identify high-value items.
• Maintain donation records and oversee recycling bins; expedite merchandise to sales floor.
