Job summary

Goodwill of South Central Wisconsin is hiring a Donation Attendant to maximize store profitability by delivering best-in-class donor service and accurate donation records. You will help with material handling, pricing decisions, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace that supports community impact and a positive customer experience.

The role requires ability to stand, walk, lift up to 40 lbs, and operate material handling equipment. Training provided; no prior experience needed.

Qualifications

• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to learn safe operation of power equipment (must be 18 years old and over).
• No experience necessary

Responsibilities

• Greet donors and provide receipts, thank donors and invite future donations.
• Move donations and manage product flow to keep merchandise available on the sales floor.
• Assist with loading/unloading donations and safely handling materials.
• Ensure accurate donation counts and record receipts for each donor.
• Operate non-powered equipment and, if applicable, powered equipment for 18+ when moving containers.
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment following safety guidelines and 5S principles.
