Job summary

Alabama Goodwill Industries is seeking staff to assist donors, handle donations, and maintain records at donation centers across sites. The role requires greeting donors within 10 seconds, unloading donations, and ensuring accurate daily counts.

You will help secure and transport items to stores and warehouses, while following AGI safety policies. Ideal candidates can work independently, have reliable transportation, and pass a drug screen and background check.

Qualifications

• Read, write, and communicate verbally and perform basic math skills.
• Must be able to work independently.
• Open availability is needed.
• Ability to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation.
• Must have reliable means of transportation.
• Drug screen and background check are required.

Responsibilities

• Greet donors promptly, provide courteous service, and maintain donor records.
• Unload donations from vehicles and offer tax receipts.
• Sort donations and prepare items for transport to stores/warehouse.
• Maintain accurate daily counts of donations and supply levels.
• Adhere to safety and security practices and AGI policies.
