Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is seeking an Experienced Retail Associate at our Eustis/Mount Dora location to greet customers, process donations, and provide friendly service.

Under the direction of the General Manager, duties include receiving donations, issuing receipts, assisting customers with lifting items, maintaining the stockroom, and ensuring a clean, safe work environment. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds regularly.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of core principles and standards in nonprofit retail.
• Retail stock handling experience.
• Active listening and ability to follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and donors with a courteous, friendly and professional attitude and provide prompt, efficient service.
• Receive donations and issue receipts; assist customers with lifting items.
• Sort donations into carts or bins and determine the quality of donations.
• Sort and price hard goods (wares).
• Keep production area clean and safe and maintain the store areas.
• Maintain professional appearance and dress code.
