Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay in Novato, CA is seeking a Store Associate to help lead a customer- and brand-focused experience, process donations, label items, and assist on the sales floor. You will support loading/unloading, maintain merchandise placement, and participate in cross-training as needed.

The role requires excellent customer service, the ability to pass forklift certification, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and to provide outstanding donor experience.
• Ability to pass forklift certification class.
• Speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be 18 years or older and pass background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Accept donations from customers and provide outstanding service.
• Label Gaylords and issue receipts to donors.
• Label and price items for sale and prepare large items for showroom.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading furniture or other items.
• Maintain merchandise placement and production room organization following standards.
• Cross-train in other store positions as needed.
• Operate pallet jack and walkie stacker safely and conduct daily safety checks.
