Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay in Berkeley, CA is seeking a dedicated team member to assist with donation intake and store operations. You will help deliver an excellent customer and brand experience, manage donations, label goods, and process receipts and sales tickets.

The role requires safety awareness, forklift certification, and the ability to work with a variety of items while maintaining inventory and floor presentation. Competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable for position.

Responsibilities

• Accepts all donations from customers, providing outstanding customer service.
• Labeling Gaylords correctly.
• Provide receipts to donors.
• Identify hazardous items and advise on proper disposal.
• Write up sales tickets and signs for large items.
• Assist customers with loading/unloading furniture and items.
• Maintain organization of merchandise per process maps.
