Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is hiring at our Berkeley location. The role involves leading an excellent customer and brand experience as part of the store team and processing donated merchandise for sale.

You will be responsible for pricing, ticketing, meeting quotas, and maintaining a safe, organized sales floor daily. Ideal candidates are able to work in a fast-paced environment, pass a background check and drug screen, and are 18 years or older.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak and read English proficiently
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen, where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Receives and processes merchandise, including pricing and ticketing, to meet minimum quota.
• Maintains regular and consistent in-person attendance.
• Safeguards company property and reports incidents of theft or misuse.
• Maintains sales floor and workstation per standards; stocks merchandise in assigned areas.
• Inspect for hazardous materials and follow safety rules; use proper safety equipment.
• Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment; capable of lifting, bending, pushing and manipulating objects.
