Job summary

Goodwill of the San Francisco Bay is hiring a Store Associate to lead an excellent customer and brand experience at our Fairfield, CA location. You will receive donations, assist customers, and help promote sales while maintaining readiness of the production room and sales floor.

Responsibilities include labeling, issuing receipts, operating pallet jacks and walkie stackers, performing safety checks, and cross-training in other store roles to support daily store operations and a positive guest

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to pass a forklift certification class.
• Ability to speak and read English proficiently.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Receive donations from customers with outstanding service.
• Label Gaylords correctly.
• Offer receipts to every donor.
• Guide handling of hazardous donations and disposal guidance.
• Write sales tickets and signs for furniture and large items.
• Assist customers with loading and unloading items.
• Maintain merchandise placement per production room standards.
• Safely operate pallet jack and walkie stacker.
• Perform daily safety inspections of equipment.
• Cross-train in other store roles as needed.
