Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory seeks a friendly Donation Attendant for the Santa Ana Store to support the Adult Rehabilitation Program. You will help donors, manage donation areas, and ensure accurate paperwork, receipts, and inventory control.

This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and flexibility, with full-time schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a comprehensive benefits package. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Must pass background check (Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry).
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management, fellow employees, customers, and donors.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and cleaning the donation trailer/pod area at the start and end of each shift.
• Assisting donors in receipt of donated items and providing receipts.
• Maintaining reports and paperwork as instructed by Supervisor.
• Sorting donated material into proper containers and stacking as instructed by Supervisor.
• Assisting TSA PA/Drivers with loading donations onto trucks as necessary.
• Informing supervisor of needed items before running out (e.g., brooms, receipts, totes).
• Securing and locking Donation trailer/pod at end of shift.
