Job summary

The Salvation Army Buena Park Store is hiring a Donation Attendant to support the Adult Rehabilitation Center program. You will help manage donation areas, assist donors with receipts, and maintain records and sorting of items to ensure efficient donation processing on-site.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, ability to read and write, and good communication with staff, donors, and customers. This is a full-time, on-site position with benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must have strong communication with staff, donors and customers.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.
• Confidence to work in a team environment and to assist with donation processing.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and clean the Donation trailer/pod area at shift start and end.
• Assist donors in receiving donated items and provide receipts.
• Maintain reports and paperwork as directed by Supervisor.
• Sort donated material into proper containers and stack as instructed.
• Assist TSA driver with loading donations onto trucks as needed.
• Inform supervisor of needed items (brooms, receipts, totes, carts).
• Secure and lock the Donation trailer/pod at end of shift.
