Job summary

Goodwill Keystone Area is seeking a Merchandise Processor to support overall operations in Donated Goods Retail. Responsibilities include processing donations, sorting, pricing, tagging, stocking, and rotating products while maintaining quality standards.

The role requires the ability to work in a warehouse, lift up to 50 pounds, and operate in a dynamic store environment with flexible hours including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

  • Must be able to read, write and perform simple math.
  • Must meet qualitative and quantitative performance standards as established by organization.
  • Must be able to work in an open warehouse environment with varying weather and temperatures.
  • Ability to learn and use equipment and technology.
  • Ability to follow verbal instructions and to work as part of a team.
  • Requires adaptability and flexibility.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

  • Process textile donations: sorting, hanging, pricing, tagging and moving product to the sales floor to meet production and sales goals.
  • Process donations of housewares, electronics, media, shoes, and other items similarly.
  • Organize, recover and rotate the sales floor as needed.
  • Follow all quality and production standards set by Goodwill Keystone Area.
  • Track production daily and report to supervisor.
  • Identify items for the Ecommerce department.
  • Assist in daily store operations and other tasks as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to customers and donors.
