Responsibilities of the DON

• Direct the clinical operations of the nursing home, including planning, organizing, developing, and directing the daily functions of the Nursing Service Department in accordance with federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, under the direction of the Administrator and Medical Director.
• Ensure the highest quality of care is maintained at all times.

Qualifications for the DON

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• RN license in OH
• Previous DON experience necessary
