Job summary

Brex is seeking a Banking Operations Analyst to manage the domestic payments queue (ACH, checks, wires, stablecoin) and investigate returns for accurate funds movement. You will use Salesforce, Hex, SQL/Snowflake and LLMs to improve monitoring and automate repeat tasks.

The role is based in Salt Lake City in a hybrid setup requiring three in-office days per week, with potential for remote work days. Collaboration with CX, Accounting, Compliance, and engineering is essential.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of experience in banking, fintech, payments, or operations.
• Exposure to payments, returns, reconciliations, or settlements.
• Strong control discipline: follows SOPs and maintains audit-ready docs.
• Clear communicator and high-velocity collaborator across teams.
• Proactive self-starter with strong communication and improvement mindset.
• AI-native operator mindset using LLMs for SOPs and triage.

Responsibilities

• Handle domestic payments queue across ACH, checks, wires and stablecoin in Salesforce.
• Monitor returns and codes; apply correct procedures.
• Identify trends and escalate with context and urgency.
• Collaborate with external banking partners to resolve exceptions.
• Maintain Salesforce routing and queue hygiene for timely resolutions.
• Document SOPs and training materials; assist onboarding.
