DHL Global Forwarding is seeking a Domestic Business Development Manager in Chicago to identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within our domestic transportation portfolio.

You will lead strategic sales initiatives, build a strong pipeline, and collaborate with Operations, Pricing, and Product teams to deliver customer-focused logistics solutions that drive revenue growth and long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in transportation/logistics or related industries.
• Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales quotas and revenue growth targets.
• Experience selling to senior-level decision-makers and managing complex sales cycles.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, qualify, develop, and win new business opportunities in domestic transportation and logistics.
• Execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets.
• Build and manage a robust sales pipeline through proactive prospecting and referrals.
• Expand presence within existing accounts via cross-selling and upselling of domestic, cross-border, and value-added solutions.
• Develop customized transportation and supply chain solutions addressing customer challenges.
