Job summary

Downtown Dog Lounge is seeking a Pack Leader to supervise daily store operations and act as the shift supervisor when managers are not present, ensuring high-quality pet care and exceptional customer service.

The role requires leading dog handling activities, coordinating boarding, meals, meds, and PPE like tags and collars, while maintaining safety and cleanliness. Weekend/evening availability and strong teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum of High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• 2+ years of customer service experience preferred.
• 2+ years of dog handling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily store operations and act as shift supervisor when managers are absent.
• Lead packing of dogs for boarding, meal prep, meds, and ensure proper tag and collars.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness, and oversee staff breaks and tasks.
• Conduct shift recap meetings and ensure Ops Cards are completed.
• Provide exceptional customer service and maintain strong client relationships.
• Mentor and train new team members; support cross-training.
• Monitor labor ratios and report team performance.
