Stone Lion Environmental LLC in Albuquerque, NM is seeking a Safety Professional to champion a culture of safety on a DOE contract with Sandia National Laboratories. You will lead site safety programs, conduct construction safety inspections, and develop risk-based plans for complex environments.

Collaborating with project managers, safety staff, and regulators, you will ensure OSHA and DOE compliance, record findings, and drive corrective actions.

Qualifications

• DOE security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• CSP or ASP certification required.
• Demonstrated construction safety experience.
• Working knowledge of OSHA regulations.
• Experience with safety inspections and corrective actions.
• Familiarity with 10 CFR 851 preferred.
• OSHA 30-Hr Construction Certification.
• LOTO and NFPA 70 knowledge.
• Experience with rigging and fall protection.

Responsabilités

• Conduct general safety inspections of sites, document findings, and track corrective actions.
• Perform hazard assessments and risk evaluations to identify unsafe conditions and recommend preventive measures.
• Monitor construction activities for OSHA and DOE compliance.
• Participate in audits and incident investigations and track corrective actions.
• Develop, review, and maintain safety plans and JHAs for projects.
• Coordinate safety planning with project managers, supervisors, and crews.
• Provide safety guidance and written inspection reports to management.
