Job summary

STI-TEC in Suffolk, VA is seeking an organized Terminology Specialist to maintain joint terminology databases (JEL and JEL+) and ensure term consistency across doctrine and publications.

You will collaborate with DoD stakeholders, use Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, and may support terminology research and publication processes. A degree or 3 years of related experience is required, and a Secret clearance may be needed.

Qualifications

• Experience with terms in the DoD Dictionary and terminology change processes.
• Experience with doctrine development and publication processes.
• Experience ensuring data consistency across documents.
• Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Maintain searchable databases of approved joint terminology within the JEL and JEL+.
• Process terminology changes into the Joint Terminology Master Database.
• Check consistency of terms and definitions across related documents.
• Support doctrine development and publication processes with terminology research
