Job summary

GALT Aerospace in San Diego, CA is seeking a full-time Systems Engineer Integration and Test (SEIT) to join our team. You will support the integration and test of networked communication systems in a DoD-focused environment.

The role requires 4+ years in testing or IT, DoD systems experience, Linux and Windows proficiency, and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance. On-site work with up to 20% travel. Join a team delivering secure, integrated solutions for national security.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in testing, networking, or other IT related fields.
• Experience with DoD computer and radio systems.
• Working knowledge of routing, switching, VLANs, IP subnetting, LAN/WAN.
• Proficiency in Linux and Windows.
• Strong understanding of automation and implementation.
• US Citizenship with a minimum of an active Interim Secret clearance; able to obtain and maintain Secret clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain technical documentation including test plans and procedures.
• Develop configurations to support tests and prototypes of developing systems.
• Develop troubleshooting procedures and work-around documentation.
• Conduct systems and sub-systems testing.
• Review and provide feedback on system specifications, development, test, and network documents.
• Install and configure Windows/Linux servers.
• Set up and maintain DNS/Exchange/Active Directory.
• Maintain virtual environments.
• Deploy, monitor, and maintain network gear including switches, servers, and firewalls.
• Capture and deploy system images.
