Job summary

Uncover is seeking a Mid-Level Systems Engineer to support a mission-critical Department of Defense program. The role involves installation, integration, maintenance, testing, troubleshooting, and sustainment of computer systems and software within secure DoD environments.

Qualifications

• 3–7 years of relevant experience in systems engineering, integration, or related fields.
• Active DoD Secret security clearance at start.
• CompTIA Security+ certification prior to start.
• Experience installing, integrating, maintaining, testing, or supporting complex IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer technical support for installation, configuration, integration, maintenance, servicing, and operation of computer systems and software.
• Diagnose and resolve complex system, software, integration, networking, and operational problems; perform root-cause analysis.
• Analyze and document user functional, data, and system requirements; document interfaces.
• Develop and conduct system and acceptance testing to verify requirements are met.
• Support system and software configuration management and version control.
