Qualifications

• Active security clearance or ability to obtain one.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering.
• 5+ years in an engineering role.
• Ability to effectively work on multiple tasks with changing priorities.
• Experience with hardware and software development, integration, and test.
• Formalizing the system engineering approach and tools.

Responsibilities

• Interacting with the DoD and large aerospace companies.
• Collaborating with the chief engineer and program managers.
• Generating and reviewing requirements with customers.
• Creating and maintaining interface control documents and test plans.
• Managing configuration processes and performing trade studies.
• Translating customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Ensuring requirements management processes meet contractual requirements.
• Overseeing reliability, maintainability, and human systems integration analyses.
• Formalizing the system engineering approach and tools.
