Job summary

RTX is seeking a Systems Engineer to support testing, integration, and performance improvements for radar and sensor systems. This onsite role requires a STEM degree and experience with systems software/hardware; DoD Secret clearance eligibility is stated. Proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C/C++, and tools like DOORS, Rhapsody, Cameo is preferred.

Relocation eligibility is offered, and travel up to 10% may be required to support missions at RTX facilities and customer sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or related STEM major obtained by start date.
• Experience with systems software, systems hardware, systems requirements, systems integration, and/or systems test.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans, procedures, integration, and verification documentation in both simulated and real-world environments.
• Identify and resolve hardware, software, and system issues through detailed data analysis and debugging.
• Collaborate across functions to drive performance improvements and resolve system issues.
• Utilize modeling and simulation tools to predict system performance and support verification and validation.
• Integrate hardware and software into tactical systems, evaluating their functionality and impact.
• Work with a multi-disciplinary team to achieve seamless integration and system functionality.
• Develop integration documentation, execute plans, analyze data, verify requirements and communicate results to leadership and stakeholders.
• Conduct statistical and numerical analysis of radar performance data to ensure optimal system performance.
• Decompose and track specifications throughout complex systems architectures.
• Travel up to 10% to support mission execution at various locations.
