Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking a System Administrator to support our government customer out of Kihei, Maui. The position requires DoD RMF compliance, Windows/Linux administration, and experience with VMs and security tooling. A signing bonus is offered, with overall compensation in a DoD environment.

Candidate must have a DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II certification and be a U.S. citizen. This on-site role includes benefits and a clear path for career growth within the BSNC family.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT or related field with 5+ years of system administration experience.
• DoD 8140/8570 IAT Level II (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+) required.

Responsibilities

• Administer Windows Server and Linux (RHEL) environments in DoD networks (classified and unclassified).
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, and DHCP across domains.
• Implement RMF security controls and DISA STIGs compliance.
• Patch management and configuration management per DoD policies.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate admin tasks.
• Support virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix).
• Support ATO packages, POA&Ms, and audit readiness with cybersecurity teams.
• Maintain system documentation, baselines, and SOPs.
