Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking an Intermediate Systems Administrator to provide comprehensive support for classified and unclassified systems in support of SWFLANT/SWSNET. You will ensure system availability, security compliance, and reliable performance aligned with DoD directives.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree or 4+ years of relevant work, DoD Cyber Workforce qualifications, and Top Secret clearance. Expect responsibilities around RMF, STIGs, and incident resolution, with potential travel as

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in information systems or related technology field or 4+ years experience in lieu of degree.
4+ years of system administration-related work experience.
Must meet DoD Cyber Workforce requirements and hold required certifications.
Top Secret clearance and ability to pass background/drug screening.

Responsibilities

Administer, configure, and maintain servers, workstations, and networked systems for operational readiness.
Apply system updates, patches, and STIGs per DoD requirements.
Monitor performance, availability, and capacity; take corrective actions as needed.
Perform backups, restoration, and continuity planning for mission-critical data.
Maintain RMF/IA controls and documentation; manage user access per security directives.
Coordinate with IA personnel to remediate vulnerabilities and ensure compliance.
Support installation and configuration of hardware/software; troubleshoot Tier II/III issues.
Participate in CCB meetings; implement approved system changes.
Assist in planning upgrades, migrations, and modernization efforts.
