Job summary

4M Research, Inc. in Huntsville, Alabama, is seeking a Mid-Level Linux Systems Administrator to support DoD programs. You will implement STIGs, maintain RMF artifacts, and ensure continuous operation of the Linux environment.

The role requires a solid background with Red Hat Linux, OpenShift experience, and a Security+ or DoD equivalent. Travel up to 25% and eligibility for SECRET clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or 7+ years experience in lieu of degree.
• Experience administering Red Hat Enterprise Linux in operational environments.
• Experience applying DoD STIGs and system hardening.
• Experience supporting virtualized environments, especially OpenShift RMF.

Responsibilities

• Implement DISA STIGs and maintain system compliance artifacts.
• Support RMF accreditation and contribute to RMF documentation.
• Perform day-to-day system operations and build-out/sustainment activities.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and assist with POA&M management in eMASS.
