Job summary

RTX is seeking an on-site software co-op in Marlborough, MA for January 2027–August 2027. You will contribute to real-time software for missiles, launchers, radars and more, working within agile teams on design, coding and testing.

You will learn advanced software practices, collaborate with engineers, and gain exposure to DevOps and cyber security in a defense context. U.S. citizenship and interim clearance are required.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or higher STEM program and will be at minimum Junior/Senior or Post Grad by summer 2027.
• Experience with C, C++, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Assist in requirements, design, development and testing of application software and tools.
• Design, code, test, integrate and document software solutions.
• Participate in internal reviews of software components and systems.
• Collaborate with project managers and engineering professionals.
• Work on tasks with defined scope, schedule and expectations.
