Job summary

RTX's software organization seeks an intern/co-op to join agile teams developing software for missiles, launchers and naval systems. Work includes real-time, DSP, ML, cybersecurity, and DevOps aspects across centers nationwide, with on-site roles in Marlborough or Tewksbury, MA, January 2027–August 2027.

You will design, code, test, and document software, participate in requirements and testing, and collaborate with engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Enrolled in a STEM bachelor's program and will be Junior/Senior by summer 2027.
• Experience with C, C++, or Java.

Responsibilities

• Assist and participate in requirements, design, development and testing of application software, and tools.
• Design, code, test, integrate, and document software solutions.
• Collaborate with project managers and other professionals within Engineering.
• Work on problems with defined scope, schedule, and expectations.
• Follow established development practices and processes to maintain software configuration management.
