Job summary

Serco Inc. (Serco) is seeking a SME Software Engineer to support the Special Programs Division (AFLCMC/WAG) at Wright Patterson AFB, OH. This role requires an active Top-Secret/SCI eligible clearance and a strong DoD background.

Qualifications

Active Top-Secret clearance with ability to obtain SCI/SAP
Master's Degree in Engineering with 20+ years DoD/government experience
3+ years SAP or SCI experience in the last 5 years
Ability to travel up to 10% (CONUS)

Responsibilities

Oversee software architecture of prime DoD contractors implementing CI/CD for a software pipeline in DoD programs
Evaluate contractor software design changes and perform systems analyses
Assess interfaces between software, firmware and hardware
Participate in software-centric reviews and transition efforts to CI/CD
Translate operational requirements into system requirements using MBSE
Analyze software performance and recommend corrective actions
Audit contractor software configuration and quality accreditation
Review system design software architecture and interoperability requirements
Evaluate test plans and participate in testing; analyze data and advise
Support development of program documentation and provide engineering briefings
