Job summary

SA-TECH, a DoD contractor at Dugway Proving Ground, seeks a Range Scheduler/Junior Project Manager to support range operations, training, and testing programs. You will manage schedules, deconflict resources, review requests, and coordinate with military units, customers, and contractors on a high-security DoD installation.

Qualifications include an associate degree, DoD security clearance eligibility, and strong scheduling experience.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited college or university is required.
• Experience in project management including schedule and cost tracking, reporting, and customer communication.
• Ability to review CWO requirements and provide technical expertise for training and testing program design.
• Experience developing and maintaining daily, weekly, monthly, and long-range schedules.
• Experience with breakdown structures, earned value management measurements, and cost estimating.
• Knowledge of WDTC operating policies, DoD guidelines, and security protocols.
• Competence in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• U.S. Citizenship and DoD Secret Security Clearance and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Perform schedule and cost tracking and reporting.
• Coordinate and deconflict ranges, test areas, training areas, facilities, and resources.
• Receive, review, process, and maintain requests for ranges and installation resources.
• Serve as a central coordination point between Range Operations, test managers, military units, government customers, contractors, and installation support organizations.
• Operate and maintain scheduling information within RFMSS or other scheduling systems.
• Ensure range resources are used efficiently while complying with safety, regulations, and environmental requirements.
• Coordinate and deconflict competing requirements involving ranges, test areas, facilities, airspace, roads, and other resources; communicate with diverse stakeholders.
• Participate in scheduling, synchronization, and coordination meetings to identify upcoming requirements and resolve conflicts.
• Ensure scheduled activities are properly coordinated with airspace restrictions, live-fire activities, and other hazardous operations.
• Maintain accurate schedules and documentation.
• Manage utilization of ranges, facilities, and test areas for workload forecasting and resource planning; prepare schedules and bulletins; communicate status; assist in prioritizing with resource limits; identify long-term trends.
• Maintain awareness of range capabilities, limitations, hazards, and access requirements to assist customers.
• Develop and manage work breakdown structures and earned value management measurements.
• Estimate costs.
