Job summary

6AM City, LLC seeks a Project Programming Support Specialist to provide critical engineering support for the 50th Civil Engineer Squadron at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs. You will manage the full lifecycle of facility projects from requirement validation to cost estimation and final approval.

The role requires DoD/programming experience, proficiency with NexGen IT, PACES, and CPP, and the ability to produce accurate cost estimates within tight schedules.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Architecture and at least 5 years of experience as a facility design engineer or construction project manager.
• Alternatively, 5 years of experience in DoD/DoW project programming and the development of programming documents.
• Comprehensive knowledge of engineering principles and analytical techniques supporting civil engineering disciplines.
• Proven ability to follow established project procedures and meet strict milestones and deadlines.
• Proficiency in DoD-specific tools like NexGen IT, PACES, and CPP is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Project Programming: Program up to 15 annual projects, including FSRM, energy resiliency, and MILCON, per AFCEC and Air/Space Force guidance.
• Requirements Validation: Validate and document project requirements from stakeholders and engineers.
• Cost Estimation: Produce PACES-based parametric cost estimates and bases of estimate within 3–4 weeks of assignment.
• Documentation & Systems: Prepare programming documents and update NexGen IT (TRIRIGA) and CPP databases.
• Strategic Planning: Support the Base Comprehensive Asset Management Plan (BCAMP/IPL) and annual Project Requirements Lists.
• Advocacy & Collaboration: Develop advocacy slides for HHQ submissions and support weekly work order review boards.
