Job summary

FedTec is seeking a PC Systems Specialist to plan, design, install, and maintain personal computer systems at Joint Base Lewis-McChord. You will engage with end users to identify requirements and deliver solutions through custom programming or COTS software adaptations, or hardware optimization.

The role requires DoD Secret (or higher) clearance and CompTIA Security+ certification, with the ability to work on-site in a mid-to-large scale IT environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree with required years of relevant experience.
• Demonstrated experience supporting PC hardware, software, and peripherals in mid-to-large scale environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and install new and existing personal computer systems.
• Consult with end users to determine hardware and software needs.
• Develop or customize COTS software to meet needs.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer hardware and software; manage peripherals.
