Job summary

Beyond New Horizons is seeking a Payroll Supervisor to support AEDC payroll operations at Arnold Air Force Base in Arnold, TN. You will lead payroll processing to ensure timely and accurate pay while maintaining compliance with government regulations.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree with 8 years' experience, 2+ years of supervisory payroll experience, and DoD NACI eligibility. Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint and UKG is preferred. U.S. citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or related field with 8 years' experience.
• Experience overseeing payroll functions for a minimum of 2 years.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD NACI and access to the AEDC LAN.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to federal government contract and Air Force security mandates.
• Extensive knowledge of payroll function incl. preparation, balancing, internal control, and payroll taxes.

Responsibilities

• Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing systems to ensure timely and accurate payroll transactions.
• Ensures accurate and timely processing of payroll updates including fringes and changes to pay rates and taxes across states.
• Prepares and maintains records and reports of payroll transactions.
• Ensures compliance with payroll laws and best practices.
• Oversee daily workflow of the department and assist in training staff.
